Standards and Assessments

All curriculum at Hershey Elementary is designed around the Indiana State Standards. These standards are assessed each spring by the state with  the ILEARN exam in grades three through five. The I-READ 3 test is a state created reading test for students in second and third grade. Hershey also monitors student progress by administering the NWEA test three times a year in first and second grade and the ILEARN Checkpoints in grades three through five .
