The Tippecanoe School Corporation will host an event Saturday, August 3 called the Backpack Splash at Wea Ridge Middle School. From 2 pm - 5 pm, families, who live within the Tippecanoe School Corporation, can get free school supplies, haircuts, family portraits, hearing and vision screenings and other information to prepare students for the new school year.

Student Services Director BeAnn Younker says community organizations will also have booths with information and resources for families in need. "This event is one way we can help serve many of our students and families who need assistance with back-to-school expenses," says Younker.

The event is for all TSC students grades K-12. 

Free shuttle rides are being offered at several locations. See below for a complete listing. All bus stops are based on approximate times. State law prohibits children under the age of five from riding the transportation buses.
